Happy New Year from Brazil. Dani and I celebrated in a small neighborhood about 10-15 miles from our place.
Brazil's firework power puts the US's 4th of July to shame. They start popping at dusk every ten seconds or so. Around 11 pm they're faster than a heartbeat. From midnight to about 12:25 am they're at grand finale level. This video was taken 17 minutes after midnight.
It seemed like every other house had a fireworks reserve ready to launch.
